Character: Jonathan Kramer.

Series/Fandom: Saw series.

Original or Alternate: Alternate.

Age: Unknown, pretty damn old. About 52.

Gender: Male.

Species: Human.

Sexuality: Straight, nearly asexual now.

Appearance: John is a human being of average height and weight everything about him seemed average. Unlike the original, John was not sick with cancer. This makes him appear younger and fitter than the original, even though he is pretty past youth. He has short blond hair, with a heavily receding hairline as a sign of age. John's brows were thin, and blond just like the hair on his head. His small eyes can be both cold but calm, they're deep grey blue eyes that hold quite a lot of apathy to them in normal situations. Nose wasn't really large, it simply fit the rest of his face perfectly. His features were wrinkled, bags under his eyes, making any onlooker wonder..why him? Why was he picked? He was beyond his age of fighting, but his mind was pristine and he was commonly known as a genius of his time. The expression on his face was usually blank and morose, but could express anger and concern like any individual. He was not as vicious as many make him out to be, but he indeed wasn't one to be joyful and peppy. Dress was generic and casual, unless he had his cloak on that covered his entire form within it. The cloak outfit came complete with gloves, heavy boots, and a blade under the left cuff, but he didn't prefer to dress like that from day to day..That was for.."special" occasions...

Personality: John has an extraordinarily complex personality. When he deemed a person worthy for existence, he was helpful, stood up for his allies, and understanding. He's shown gentleness in the past, along with some smudges of compassion. To ordinary eyes John is normal, albeit a bit cold, but a normal man. His wit and intellect is sharp, and he is a strong and profound engineer. John was known for his dark side, his very dark side. He wasn't evil, simply misunderstood. When he deemed someone unfit to live, or not cherishing their life, he struggled to help them. His definition of help was to create life or death situations and put existence in the hands of said person. He wasn't sadistic or ruthless, in his eyes, he was saving their lives by putting them in such situations. Was his reasoning backwards? Many think so, but when someone does survive his tests they are changed for the better. Because he has created these "traps", he has become callous to any and all gore, blood, and the like. He is considered a serial killer, a monster, and a savior. It's up to you to decide how you regard him.

Abilities/Strengths: He is insanely smart, and crafty. John can create deadly traps and can kill without remorse or regret. His strength comes from his intense background in engineering, he might be able to floor a battlefield by creating carefully planned out traps for his victims to fall into. One problem, he usually will refuse to kill unless teaching a lesson of some sort.

Weapons: John knows how to use guns,and knives, but prefers not to attack people in a dead on manner.

Weaknesses: John is aged, and he's a human. He has no supernatural abilities, and can be killed easily if without weapons. He isn't very fast, nor strong, but he is above average for human abilities in fighting.

History: It is unknown how John started his life, who his parents were, and where he was from. The furthest back information that is known points to John being a toy designer working in a company called Standard Engineering. He lived a good life at that point, married to someone named Jill. At this time Jigsaw was obsessed with the chinese zodiac, and they planned on having a child together. Jill became pregnant, but one night at her hospital job she was assaulted by a man who smashed the door on her. This caused her to have a miscarriage, and John blamed Jill somewhat for what happened, out of anger. Jill left him soon after that. In his rage, he found the male who smashed the door on his wife in China Town, during the new year. He knocked out the man and constructed his first trap and played his first game with the man, who failed to complete the test. Sometime after his first murder he fell ill with a disease that had a good chance of taking his life, the doctors, however, told him he was a dead man with no chance of survival. It was lung cancer, and of course John thought he was going to die. He began to cherish every day of his life, but was very disturbed by the lack of care people surrounding him appeared to show. He thought he would die a painful death, and after noticing that someone who worked at the hospital slit his wrists, he decided to try to kill himself by driving his car off a cliff. He had second thoughts at the last moment, pulling a spike of wood that stuck into his chest and saving his own life. From that point on he decided he would force humanity to see things in a new light by making them stare death in the face.
One by one, he captured the people he deemed took advantage of their own lives, created elaborate traps, and tested each and every one of them. The one's that survived, including a girl named Amanda and a detective teamed up with him and became his apprentices. During the time he was constructing the traps, he was still in therapy, to the surprise of all the doctors his cancer began to go in regression and then totally end. Despite being cured, he still told Amanda he was dying, so he could test her by capturing a doctor named Lynn Denlon, the husband of Jeff Reinhart, a man who was being tested during this time period. Jeff had to complete his test, and free Lynn. By giving Lynn a lot of attention, Amanda flipped out, and failed the test horribly. Amanda failed by shooting the doctor just as her husband enters, the husband, in his rage, killed Amanda with a power saw. John says that Jeff could kill him, or forgive him, unknowingly to him Jigsaw had created a device which would blow Lynn's head off if he was killed. Jeff held up the power-saw, and tried to drive it into Jigsaw's throat. Jigsaw dodged, and shot Jeff in the head, but his memento made the attack still connect with his neck. Jigsaw had miscalculated! Just as this happened, Jigsaw, like the others, was taken from his dimension and put in the next. Lynn survived, but Jeff did not, due to being shot in the head, and Jigsaw's work was carried on in his home realm by his other, surviving apprentice. He wasn't ripped away fast enough to avoid injury, hence John's throat is slit, but the wound isn't nearly deep enough to kill him.
